Construction Watch: Alo Yoga’s Target Open Date Is Mid-November

The Lululemon competitor was originally slated to open in the summer but should be open in time for the holidays.

Walnut Street has been pretty busy this year! We’ve had a slew of new places open such as Mejuri, Walnut Garden (which opened so fast it had to be shut down for further construction), Saatva, and more. One of the most highly anticipated openings, however, is surprisingly not a restaurant – Alo Yoga, the celeb-loved brand that’s coming to the long-vacant Modell’s space in between Theory and L’Occitane.

The original date was summer 2023 but this area of Philly is doing very well, with a number of projects slated to open this year. Judging by this week’s photo the good news is that construction has picked up and progress is being made every day.

Hiring started in August and the team is optimistic for the launch in less than 60 days. 🤞
