It’s Officially Official: Alo Yoga Opens Their 1st Philly Store On January 26th
The long-anticipated athleisure brand arrives at 1608 Walnut St in the previous Modell’s space.
You can rarely count on construction to be finished on time. The crew working on the eagerly anticipated Alo Yoga store was HUSTLING to get it open before Christmas but…stuff happens.
Luckily, Alo Yoga is opening up in time to keep our New Year’s fitness and style resolutions on track. The store opens this month on Friday, January 26th at 10 am and will be a great fit on that particular section of Walnut which has Theory, Marine Layer, Faherty, and L’Occitane.
We were able to take some quick snaps and it’s come a long way since we last took a look. The ceiling and lighting seem to be complete, and the high ceilings are really cool. Not sure what the black bars will do: maybe hold laminated signage? Either way, it looks neat.
Given that Rittenhouse has a wide array of fitness options (9 Pilates options alone!), we’re hopeful Alo Yoga will do well, and can’t wait to see it finally open. Also, if you work in the fitness and health industry, they offer a professional discount.
