Happy Hour Highlights: Sipping & Savoring Summer At Almyra
In our new series, we visit the modern Greek restaurant that’s been a hit for everyone who likes to dress up, and that has an everyday happy hour that’s pure fun.
There’s something to be said about the allure of the Mediterranean. Soft whites and cream colors against a backdrop of a blue sky, a calm blue sea, vibrant pink flowers, flowering orange trees….
You can’t get all that at Almyra, BUT you can chill over a deliciously cold spritz while savoring small bites under the umbrella of a gorgeous chandelier, soft lighting, and against the backdrop of vibrant pink flowers.
Some fun facts about happy hour at Almyra:
- It’s EVERY DAY – weekends included! – from 4-6pm.
- It’s only at the bar BUT Almyra’s bar is pretty large and includes high tops – you have to see the hostess for those.
- It can get busy, depending on the day and time.
- You can’t make reservations.
- Dressing up – or not – is okay for happy hour!
- It’s fun!
The menu offers a variety of drinks, spreads, and small bites. Note that some of these items are NOT on their main menu, and unique to happy hour.
The cocktails we got were fun and also not on the main menu. The bartender said the Spritz and El Dorado were the most-demanded drinks so far this summer.
The portions for the food we got was ample, and didn’t seem to be less than what you’d get as a regular appetizer.
If you’re looking for a fun happy hour then be sure to keep Almyra on your list! We’ll go back, however, we’re embarking on exploring more happy hours to share with you. Because Philly has the best happy hours, as you can see.
Cheers!
