Rittenhouse’s Only Indoor Golf SIMS Place, Five Iron Golf, Closes Temporarily To Build An Even More Amazing Experience
The venue that had opened back in February of 2020 is getting a major glow-up.
Our neighborhood is surrounded by great golf courses but there are times when you need some solo practice, want to get together casually with friends, learn how to play golf, or play when the weather outside is either freezing or over 100 degrees (whyyyyy can’t we just have a slightly hot summer?!)
Enter Five Iron Golf, our local indoor golf and sports venue that’s staffed by golf enthusiasts and players, all of whom are chill and fun to be around. It’s been a great place to be, even as a non-player, because there’s no judgement, just fun, and a stellar staff.
Starting today the Rittenhouse location that opened back in February 2020 is closed for some renovations, including BRAND NEW SIMULATOR BAYS!
Current ETA is about 8 weeks, and members can show up at the Fishtown or any location to play. See their email below.
Just a reminder that we’re about to embark on a major renovation of our Rittenhouse location. Upgrades will feature the newest Trackman technology, complete with camera functionality, all within brand new simulator bays built from the ground up!
The Rittenhouse location will be closed temporarily for about 8 weeks, beginning on July 15th. We understand this might cause some inconvenience; we do sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause to your practice routine. We’re confident, though, these upgrades will be well worth the wait and we’ve got you covered in the meantime!
During the renovation period, our Fishtown location will remain open. As a Rittenhouse member, you will NOT be charged while the location is closed while still being able to enjoy all member benefits at Fishtown or any other Five Iron Golf location, nationwide. That means you won’t be charged a dollar in July or August and can still be a member at our other Philadelphia location during the closure. Our team is here to make this transition as smooth as possible, including helping move your stored bag to another location and answering any other questions you may have.
We genuinely appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to bring you an even better Five Iron Golf experience. We look forward to welcoming you back to our newly-renovated space.Don’t worry, we’ll be sharing progress pics and keeping you updated throughout the renovations!
Full disclosure: we’ve been members for years, in New York then over here, and love everything about Five Iron Golf because they always have the nicest staff who like to talk about golf, sports, even life. We’re personally excited about how well the brand is doing, coming at a time where golf is now super hot!
