The Tradition Worth Breaking Resolutions For: Restaurant Week Returns January 18th
10 days, 56 restaurants (in Rittenhouse!), countless three-course menus, and zero judgment about abandoning New Year's resolutions.
The culinary equivalent of Fashion Week IS BACK!
Center City District’s Restaurant Week has returned—and just in time to rescue us from those ambitious New Year’s resolutions. Running January 18th through January 31st, one of the neighborhood’s favorite traditions gives us something infinitely better than runway shows: two-course lunches and/or three-course dinners at 56 participating restaurants (up from 53 last year).
The Fine Print (But Important!)
A few things to keep in mind before you embarking on Restaurant Week:
Make Reservations: Some restaurants are more popular and/or intimate, so reservations aren’t a bad idea. Actually, scratch that—reservations are a very good idea, especially for spots you’ve been dying to try.
No Splitsies! Everyone at the table needs to order from the Restaurant Week menu. No mixing and matching with the regular menu or sharing one prix fixe between two people. Trust us, you’ll want your own three courses anyway.
Check the Calendar: Not every restaurant is open every day, and some aren’t offering Restaurant Week deals on Saturdays. Visit the Center City District Restaurant Week website to confirm your chosen spot’s availability before making plans.
