Frame This: DTC “Frame Anything” Company Framebridge Opens Up Next Month
The DC-based custom framing brand opens up its first Philly store at 113 S 18th Street.
One of our favorite Ramblers Chris (by the way, check out his cute cats!) shared the tidbit with us earlier this month that Framebridge, a direct-to-consumer startup known for its expertise in framing pretty much anything, was coming to the neighborhood soon.
We were looking to IMMEDIATELY broadcast the news but held off until we found the location – at 113 S 18th Street between Van Leeuwan and Eyesite, replacing 18th Street Apothecary that closed not too long ago (RIP), after being in the neighborhood for well over 10 years.
This is also not their first store in Pennsylvania as they have an Ardmore location.
On a recent trip to Boston, we stumbled across a Framebridge store in the wild and of course, we HAD to do some in-person research.
The Boston Seaport store was a solid square and is likely wider than the Philly one which seems more on the narrower side, judging by its neighbors, but we’ll see.
What’s very likely to be similar: the gallery wall, which Framebridge takes a lot of pride (and likely sales) in. We’re expecting it to be Eagles/Phillies/maybe Flyers-themed.
Also very likely to be present in the Philly store: various frames to choose from and a measurement table. We’re not sure what’s in the drawers but they add to the calm decor vibes.
The Framebridge team said they’re opening next month and to be honest, we LOVE having another home decor store in the neighborhood.
